There doesn’t seem to be a lot buzz right now surrounding the white iPhone 5. Perhaps that’s because, since the iPhone 5 is not yet released, we don’t really know if there will be a white iPhone 5 available from the start or if the white iPhone 5 will be delayed and in turn creating a false sense of demand.
Regardless, when it comes to leaked pictures and images of what a white iPhone 5 may look like, below is perhaps one of the best images I’ve seen to date. This is a pretty sweet iPhone 5 mock up, prototype, or whatever you want to call it…
Vodafone, a UK cell phone carrier, made the implication that Apple’s next generation iPhone – the iPhone 5 – will be offered in both black and white and available in only the 16GB and 32GB capacity.
According to Vodafone’s Sure Signal product page, the product that adds a signal boost to a whole line up of handsets, there was a mention made of four variants of the iPhone 5. According to the page, the iPhone 5 will be offered in traditional colors of black and white, and there will be a 16GB and 32GB model.
Interesting enough, there was no mention of a 64GB model of the iPhone 5. Apple currently offers high end 64GB capacity for both the iPod Touch and iPad.
A white iPhone 5 would be something that Apple customers would love to see right from day one. Last year when the iPhone 4 was released, a white iPhone 4 model was not part of the lineup. And because of supply chain problems with paint mixtures, Apple ended up delaying the white iPhone 4 by 10 months. Unfortunately for Apple, by the time the white iPhone 4 was launched, much of the excitement for the device had dissipated.
