The iPhone 5 photos that are starting to leak onto web are awesome! Whether these are actually true renderings of what Apple will be releasing soon or not, I don’t really know. And you know, I don’t really care… just looking at these images makes you even more compelled to follow the buzz surrounding the iPhone 5.
So today, according to The Next Web, some new images were leaked about the iPhone 5. But this time, the leaked images are of a hard case shell for the iPhone 5.
Most revealing in these new images of a iPhone 5 hard case shell is the much thinner body design and much wider screen size. One of the images shows an iPhone 4 actually sitting inside of the iPhone 5 hard case, revealing a substantial size difference between the devices.

Today must be the day for leaked iPhone 5 images. I just posted an article showing some leaked iPhone 5 case images that suggest a radical new design of the iPhone 5 compared to previous models.
And now we have two more leaked images, this time it’s a screen protector for the iPhone 5. These new images confirm a much wider home button underneath the main screen, and a larger screen display, as previous reports and rumors of the iPhone 5 have been suggesting.
What’s interesting about this particular leaked image of the iPhone 5 screen protector is that the second image shows the screen protector with an iPhone 4 placed on top of it. This image gives us a great comparison of the size difference, and shows how the iPhone 5 has a much wider display than the iPhone 4.

Even though the iPhone 5 has yet to be officially announced, case makers are starting to capitalize on all of the buzz that’s surrounding Apple’s next generation iPhone.
Above is an image from Case Mate’s website that was apparently leaked earlier today showing cases for the iPhone 5. The case designs suggest a radical change in the iPhone 5 design specs with a thin, slick body style and beveled edges that slant inward from front to back. The leaked iPhone 5 case images also suggest the iPhone 5 will have an aluminum backside.
The image from Case Mate was quickly pulled down from the site after apparently being posted accidentally – or perhaps it was a marketing ploy from the beginning. The page was replaced with a new page that says we’ll have your cases when you have your new iPhone.
If it was a marketing ploy from Case Mate, then is worked. From Boy Genius Report to the New York Times, the web has caught on fire with these leaked iPhone 5 cases.
The iPhone 5 is expected to be announced for pre sale here in the U.S. and in China on September 30th, with an official arrival at retailers on October 7th. Based on current search trends the amount of chatter building up on the web, the iPhone 5 is looking to be perhaps the most popular iPhone release from Apple to date.
Apple has struck deals with multiple retailers for the iPhone 5. AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, T-Mobile, and perhaps even Best Buy are among the retailers that will be selling the iPhone 5 come mid October. And of course, you’ll be able to find the iPhone 5 for sale at Apple online store and in Apple retail stores as well.
