iPhone 5 Won’t Be Affected By Galaxy S2 Release
There is so much talk out there about “iPhone killers”. Like there’s any Android smartphone that has come anywhere close to selling on the level of an iPhone.
Nonetheless, Samsung thinks it has what it takes to actually divert sales and attention from the upcoming iPhone 5. Today, Walmart started taking pre-orders on the Samsung Galaxy S2 which Samsung is selling for only $99.
So let me ask you – did you even notice that the Galaxy S2 was released today and taking pre orders? Probably not.
And truth be told, only a small fraction of smartphone users took notice of the pre-sale launch at Walmart.
Compare this to the iPhone 5 and it’s laughable.
Every major news publication and tech blog talks about the iPhone 5 continually. The smallest hint of a leaked photo, or rumor, or sighting of the missing iPhone 5 has the media in a frenzy and web lights up with chatter globally.
Who’s talking about the Galaxy S2 today, besides me on this blog?
The iPhone 5 is coming, and it won’t be the slightest bit affected by the Galaxy S2 launching at Walmart today.
